A few corrections on this (though I agree with the gist of it, that no defense is 100% effective).

First, the THAAD was not yet deployed when the Iranian attack took place.

Second, the Iron Dome is mostly intended to protect against shorter-range missiles, not ballistic missiles.

Third, the anti-ballistic-missile defense is via the Arrow 2 and Arrow 3.

Finally, Israel is in the final stages of testing a new missile defense system, dubbed "Iron Beam" - a high-energy laser system. I don't know for sure, but I think this should be effective against ballistic missiles as well as drones and short-range missiles.
