A very positive view, perhaps overly so.

You gloss over the fact that inequality in developed countries, especially the US, is very high and growing fast.

You also paint a future where we've overcome our propensity to go for instant gratification at the expense of the future.

Our current lifestyle is unsustainable, and our trajectory is such that unless we change things dramatically for the better, things will get worse until we reach a tipping point that may well kill off most of humanity and drive untold numbers of other species into extinction.

So, are we living a life of heretofor unimaginable wealth? Yes, for those of us who are in the lower middle class and higher.

Will our kids, on average, live better lives than we do? Most likely not.
