Actually, I don’t consider a matter of opinion that global climate change is occurring, nor that humanity is the cause for at least a major portion of it.

As I responded to you elsewhere, small changes in the right direction are usually far more effective than holding out for “perfect.”

The example here is that buying new and driving for 10 years is better for the environment than buying used and replacing more frequently. On average in my example, you’d be driving cars that are more than 2 years younger, and thus usually have better gas mileage, better emissions controls, and are safer.

On the personal front, if I don’t need a car to get to work, I would not buy one, for both financial and environmental reasons. If I do need to buy one, I’ll try to buy one that gets good gas mileage, again for both financial and environmental reasons.

If you choose to not understand all the above, that’s your prerogative, and I just wish you a great life.
