My preferred (long-term) solution is that Palestinians stop teaching their children to hate all Jews and/or Israelis. That way, at some point we can have a majority on both sides that insists on peace.

It's perfectly reasonable to hate what Israeli governments have done, and what they've caused the IDF to do. However, if you go beyond that to hatred of all Jews and/or Israelis, you become a big part of the problem (along with any Israeli Jews who hate all Palestinians).
