Another type is you get a call from the "US Customs and Border Protection" about some parcel that's being shipped to you from overseas. Apparently the contents are illegal and if you don't do whatever their requirement of the day, you'll be arrested.

Yeah, right. I just hang up on them, but others probably fall for it out of fear. Otherwise the fraudsters would stop using that script.
