Bravo! Finally, someone who provides a historically accurate accounting without bias to one side or the other.

As I've often said, if we go by "historic right," any claim by the Palestinians is trumped by archeologically proven ties of the Jewish people to the land of Israel.

However, that doesn't count for anything when trying to come up with a morally and ethically based solution.

The facts on the ground are that between "the river and the sea, " we have over 7 million Jews and something over 6 million Palestinians.

Neither is going away anytime soon, if you want to avoid true genocide or ethnic cleansing. So, the only morally acceptable solution is for two states, Israel and Palestine, living in peace next to each other.

Once (and only once) the Palestinians genuinely accept this and commit to controlling their crazies, and Israel decides to accept this and reign in their crazies, will a peaceful and prosperous future be possible for all the people who live in that small strip of land.

Israel has, as you've accurately stated, agreed to solutions along these lines over and over, only to be attacked and have its people threatened with extinction. So, it's time for the Palestinians to "get their act together," and prove that they're willing to sacrifice for peace, not just for war.
