Regarding the Bible, it's not the only ancient scripture that has stomach-turning content. And no, I don't rely on any biblical "proof" that G-d promised the land to the Jews.

My point is two-fold. First, any historic claim made by the Palestinians is a couple of millenia newer than that of the Jewish people.

Second and more important, history doesn't change the fact that there are over 7 million Jews and 7 million Palestinians there, so the only path that doesn't lead to horrific tragedy is a two-state solution.

Whatever God you pray to, may He (or She) give the leaders and the populace on both sides the wisdom to realize this and the courage to make it happen.
