From what I hear, the problem is that these AIs are great at making their writing sound compelling and convincing. However, that's true even when those answers are flat out wrong. Also, they will write along the lines of what "the Internet" already "knows," so don't expect any controversial positions or advice.

That's why it's best to only use AI in writing things you know well enough to find and correct any mistakes. Also, do a deep edit of whatever the AI writes, and add your own personal stories and unique opinions.
