This particular snippet I'm not sure about. I think it's fine to write for multiple pubs as long as you (a) match the right article to the right pub, and (b) write enough articles in each pub you're in to gain traction.

If you only write 2-3 articles a month, then writing for 2-3 pubs isn't a great idea. If you write 4-6, then doing 2-3 each in two pubs can work even better.
