Hamas is not Netanyahu's creation, though he has the dubious distinction of having allowed incredible amounts of Qatari money into the Gaza Strip to fund Hamas. Ostensibly this was to keep things simmering rather than nursing into flames, but we now know those vast sums did little if anything to help Gazan civilians, and we're used almost exclusively to build up Hamas's underground "metro" and smuggle in rockets and other munitions.
As for your less-than-subtle dig, I participated in the 1980s war in Lebanon. As for the IDF "fixing" the Palestinian problem, that's a cynical and unworthy statement. The IDF, if given the resources and time, will eradicate Hamas. It will then be up to the political so-called leadership to transform that battlefield achievement into an opening for good-faith peace negotiation. No military can "fix" a national struggle, unless the country sending it in is willing and able to commit actual genocide, and the military is willing to follow such orders. Neither is the case here, by any stretch of the imagination (except the sick imagination of the antisemitic).
