Having lived across the border in France's Region de l'Ain and worked at CERN near Geneva, I'd point out a couple of less sterling points.
First, the Swiss are rules-followers in the extreme. If you do anything that's at all different than the rules, even if it's as benign as buying a portable washing machine to do a bit of laundry in your apartment because you travel too much to be able to do it in the single day every other week that you're allocated, your neighbors will rat you out to the police.
Similarly, if your apartment is in a building where the rules call for quiet hours after 10 PM (not necessarily a bad thing!), and once a year you have a holiday party that goes a few minutes past 10, expect the police to knock on your door and confiscate your hifi until the next morning.
Second, their school system values obedience and conformity over intelligence, so don't expect your kids to learn how to be exceptional if they attend public school.
But if those two minor issues (and many other similar ones) don't bother you, then by all means, consider moving there.
