I agree with many of your points. However, I'd suggest not painting "the wealthy" with too broad a brush. The wealthy aren't monolithic. Not all got there by starting a business. Some inherited their wealth. Some made it from high income and investing a large fraction of their income. Many wealthy people don't "run society." They simply live their lives (mostly) on their own terms and don't care too much about what everyone else chooses to do. Finally, not all wealthy business owners need to scale up enough to justify hiring a bunch of employees.
