It's absolutely true that Yitschak Rabin was assassinated by a right-wing extremist Jew (who's still serving a life sentence in an Israeli jail). It's also true that the assassination was because Rabin moved forward in support of a two-state solution.

He was a brave leader who saw that it was the only possible ethical and moral solution to the struggle between the two people living in that small parcel of land.

The current PM, Netanyahu, is corrupt and incompetent. He belongs in jail for a good long time for several corruption cases he's already been indicted on. Arguably, he put together the current coalition of crazies as the only way he could think of to keep his own ass out of jail.
