I don't disagree that there are enormous risks and costs we and our children will yet pay for the fossil fuel industry's choices and how our government subsidizes them.

However, we need to be a bit more cautious when throwing around big numbers. For example, in 2022, worldwide electric energy generation was 29,165 TWh (https://www.visualcapitalist.com/electricity-sources-by-fuel-in-2022/).

If we assume a 90 GW power plant (or combination of such plants) is fully online 24/365, it produces 788 TWh, which is 2.7% of global production, 5x less than 13%.
