I have to admit that my personal finance articles are usually intended to help people who are already doing at least somewhat well do better.
And I'm still working on the article you challenged me to write, offering (hopefully useful) advice to people making under 200% of poverty-line income.
Meanwhile, reading some surveys from LendingTree got me thinking about how whacked our system really is, so I had to write something about it.
