I stand corrected Ben. I misread your sentence that ends with “he is giving many young people hope that they can conquer their debt and for that, I tip my hat to him” and didn’t absorb the crucial first part where you say, “While I don’t agree with Dave Ramsey’s financial philosophy…”

I agree that he is giving Millennials hope, but he’s harming those of them who follow his “7 baby steps” by giving them wrong information and a wrong approach, albeit, his wrong approach is not as wrong as simply spending like there’s no tomorrow while going deeper and deeper into debt for no good reason.
