I'd actually not heard of the Gospel AI until you brought it up. I then read about it from first source, the IDF news release: https://www.idf.il/%D7%90%D7%AA%D7%A8%D7%99-%D7%99%D7%97%D7%99%D7%93%D7%95%D7%AA/%D7%99%D7%95%D7%9E%D7%9F-%D7%94%D7%9E%D7%9C%D7%97%D7%9E%D7%94/%D7%9B%D7%9C-%D7%94%D7%9B%D7%AA%D7%91%D7%95%D7%AA/%D7%94%D7%A4%D7%A6%D7%95%D7%AA/%D7%9E%D7%9C%D7%97%D7%9E%D7%94-%D7%9E%D7%98%D7%A8%D7%95%D7%AA-%D7%A9%D7%94%D7%95%D7%AA%D7%A7%D7%A4%D7%95-%D7%9B%D7%95%D7%97%D7%95%D7%AA-%D7%A6%D7%94-%D7%9C-%D7%90%D7%92%D7%A3-%D7%94%D7%9E%D7%95%D7%93%D7%99%D7%A2%D7%99%D7%9F-%D7%97%D7%99%D7%9C-%D7%94%D7%90%D7%95%D7%95%D7%99%D7%A8-%D7%97%D7%99%D7%9C-%D7%94%D7%99%D7%9D/).

The news release states that the AI offers suggested targets that are then verified by a human in the loop. It may well end up suggesting mosques, hospitals, and other normally protected sites if Hamas is using them for ammunition storage, launch sites, command posts, etc., making them legitimate military targets.

The responsibility for such lays at the feet of Hamas for committing the (additional) war crime of using protected sites for military purposes.

What (some) settlers do in the West Bank, attacking unarmed Palestinians, is horrific and a crime. If you were to tell me that the current Israeli government isn't doing anything to quell this, I would not be shocked. They are a bunch of right-wing messianic nuts.

Re not having access to the Internet and/or charging stations, just look at all the video footage they put online of hostages being paraded on their way to ICRC vehicles. Had there been no Internet and/or electricity, that would not have been possible.

As for safe spaces being unsafe, that's what happens when Hamas cynically launches rockets from exactly those spaces, intentionally.

While, personally, I'd be delighted to see Netanyahu serve a long stretch in prison, that's because he is corrupt, not a war criminal. As PM of a country that just suffered an invasion that tortured, murdered, and/or kidnapped well over 1000 citizens, he is required to everything needed to ensure Hamas can never do this again (and they've openly stated on the record that they will continue to do this repeatedly).

Does all this make civilian Palestinian casualties any less tragic? Of course not. If even one innocent Palestinian is killed, that's one too many. Let alone many thousands. It just places the responsibilty/blame where it belongs - Hamas.
