I'm not sure I agree that we can't reduce our carbon footprint (and if we can, we should), but we sure as heck can increase it, which we should avoid. Regarding jets, military and otherwise, it's not either/or. They'll burn whatever fuel they burn. The question is if adding to that all the fuel cars burn is a good idea, or if it's better to at least try to reduce where we can.
