I'm probably more aggressive than most in my investments, which is probably why I rarely keep much money in highly liquid accounts that earn next to nothing.

These days, when you can easily find 4.5-5% interest on savings accounts, I keep more money in these, but still far less than 3-6 months' worth of expenses.

As I see it, I'd rather risk losing some money if I'm ever forced to sell shares at a lower price point, rather than accept the certainty of opportunity cost of keeping tens of thousands of dollars earning sub-1% instead of averaging 7%+.
