Interesting read Denis, and thought-provoking.

What's that saying (written by an old guy, I suspect): "Youth is wasted on the young!" :)

When we're young we have the health and stamina to do so much, but haven't learned the patience to appreciate what's all around us.

By the time we gain the wisdom needed to fully appreciate what's there, our bodies slow down and start breaking down too, so we can't do a lot of what we used to do.

The greatest wisdom is to be fully present and enjoy the journey, even as you pursue your goals. The adage, "keep your eyes on the prize" is only half right. It should be "keep one eye on the prize and the other on the path."
