Islam began in the 7th century CE, so no, Islam's roots in the area are about 2/3 as deep as those of Christianity and less than half as deep as those of Judaism.

As far as independent nation states whose people endure to this day as a nation (as opposed to now-extinct nations and/or vassals of foreign empires), the Jewish people are the only ones to have ever had those, Israel and Judea, as early as ~1300 BCE.
