Kiyosaki is great at one thing, selling useless books full of BS. If you do some Google searches, you'll find many reports of attempts to verify his stories that found that he likely made up most of his so-called successes. There likely was no "rich dad." Even his attempt to redefine assets and liabilities is nonsense. The only thing of any use in his stories that's not generic and/or nonsense is that if you can come up with a compelling (fictional) story that sounds quasi realistic enough and panders to people's desperation, you'll become rich.
