My dear Isaac, Jews have lived uninterrupted in the area currently called Israel for the past 3000+ years.

Not all Jews, but many Jews managed to hang on there despite half a dozen or more ancient empires' best efforts.

And the fact that close to a million Jews were ethnically cleansed from the Arab world and moved to our ancient homeland, where they made a life for themselves, rather than remain victimized refugees for generations is noteworthy, especially to those who profess to supporting the rights of Palestinian refugees.

No other group of refugees in the world, aside from the Palestinians, had multiple generations called refugees. Pretty much everyone else moved to wherever they moved and started from scratch. Their children and grandchildren were no longer considered refugees.
