Semi retirement is part of my plan. Instead of waiting an extra 2-3 years (past 2026) to retire fully, I plan to cut my hours down to 25-50% of full time for those years. Since we already buy health insurance in the private market anyway, that won't change, our income will be enough to more or less cover our spending, and if anything, I expect to be more, not less physically active with fewer demands on my time.
