Skimpflation is new to me, though I did hear of "shrinkflation" - which is the term for stealthily reducing the quantity of a product without changing the price, especially when they try to make the packaging look identical.

There are two ways to fight this distubring trend. First, find better alternative sources. Second, publicly shame such companies online.

Ultimately, one hopes we'll see sanity break out.
