As hard as it is to shift your mindset and allowing yourself to enjoy at least some of the money now, you have to do it. If you have enough invested to not need any new income, and don’t spend more than you absolutely must, you might find yourself having an incredibly large portfolio when, heaven forbid, you might be hit by the proverbial bus and die before ever letting yourself truly enjoy the fruits of your labor.
