Thank you very much for your detailed response Alex.

When I say the game is rigged, I'm not talking about illegal discrimination (though that obviously does exist).

I'm also not talking (solely) about the gender pay gap or the "pink tax" (both of which have been proven by numerous studies so I don't need to prove them).

What I'm talking about is the systemic pressure exerted by the wealthy through political contributions and other power levers on things like the tax code, social safety nets, minimum wage, etc.

I'm talking about the folks at the top using their power and influence to, e.g., increase C-suite pay to the point that the ratio between a CEO's pay and that of the average employee at their company reaching obscene levels (see, e.g., https://www.cnbc.com/2019/04/23/disney-ceo-bob-iger-earns-1000-times-as-much-as-a-typical-employee.html).

Feel free to dismiss the above if you want, but whether or not you think I "proved" the game is rigged, I believe most objective observers wouldn't question that it's what's so.
