Thanks for sharing your thoughts Maximilian. The problem with mirage for investment properties these days is that they are very significantly higher than for primary residences. Last I checked, it was about 1.5% higher (e.g., 8.5% rather than 7%). That's why, if it's practical, you're better off buying a new primary residence, and leading out got current home.
