Thanks for sharing your thoughts Richard. I used to have those very concerns myself. Meanwhile, given how rare these sorts of incidents are, even relative to the percentage of EVs relative to all cars, I think car makers were able to engineer the batteries to greatly reduce that risk. If you have specific sources that say differently, please share those.
