I agree that Air BnB isn’t necessarily passive. However, as I say in the article, it can be. If you make it a large enough investment, you can hire a property manager, a handyman, a cleaning crew, someone to handle marketing, etc. At that point, your level of effort is so minimal that I assert you can call it passive.
