To be clear, I didn’t read that quote to mean that index funds are the best investment period.

Obviously, if WB thought that, he’d never have stayed BH.

My point is that saying that index investing is best for most investors doesn’t mean it’s best for people who are willing to educate themselves a little about choosing active funds.

I brought stats to show it’s very doable to outperform index funds.
