Thanks so much for your excellent observations Tracy! One of the reasons I like the coasting idea is to ease into retirement rather than going from 40+ weekly work hours to zero overnight.

But, hey, I haven't started yet, so I may end up doing a much shorter and steeper change than I currently envision...
