That right there is the essence of this and many other endeavors. It would be nice if they responded with a debrief giving the reasons each rejected nomination was rejected.

That would likely increase their acceptance level and reduce their cost per nomination processed. However, just because this makes sense (at least to me) doesn't mean they'll do it... :)
