The end of your article reminds me of a line from a 1983 movie, WarGames. In the movie, a teenager hacks into some Pentagon computers and starts playing “Global Thermonuclear War” with a war-gaming AI. It’s a really fun movie so I won’t put too many spoilers here. However, there is a line spoken by the AI near the end of the movie that goes something like, “That’s a strange game… the only way to win is to not play.”
