Well said! It boggles the mind how supposedly intellectual people fall for the most easily disproven "facts" because they fit some internal need to feel virtuous for supporting the underdog. The fact that said underdog will and does tear out the throats of the innocent whenever given the opportunity is ignored or justified through circular thinking.
