While I might quibble with a detail or two (e.g., with level-3 chargers you can take many EVs from 10% to 80% charge in under 30 minutes rather than needing 8 hours), I agree that EVs aren't the right solution for most people yet. I write that from personal experience - my wife and I own one hybrid and one EV.
