While I suspect that a good bit of the association between socioeconomic status of parents and their kids' success is the causative factor of greater access to resources that help them learn more, their access to their parents' network undoubtedly helps too.

That said, I couldn't agree more that the so-called progressiveness becoming so rampant in US colleges has a lot to do with the unforgivable antisemitism there.
